The Grand Traverse Addiction & Recovery Council (GTARC) is excited to announce a new partnership with a youth prevention organization in Marin County, California, to bring the Raising the Bar campaign to our community.

Raising the Bar is an evidence-informed initiative focused on promoting substance-free youth events and creating safer, healthier environments for young people. By encouraging communities to set clear expectations and provide positive, substance-free spaces, the campaign supports youth in making healthy choices while still enjoying meaningful social experiences.

Through this partnership, GTARC will work with local schools, community organizations, and families to implement strategies that reduce substance use at youth-focused events and increase awareness about the importance of prevention.

We are proud to bring this innovative initiative to Grand Traverse County and look forward to collaborating with our community to “raise the bar” for youth health and well-being.
